Solar Rating & Certification Corporation
What is SRCC ?
In 1980 the SRCC was incorporated as a non-profit organization whose primary purpose was the development and implementation of national rating standards and certification programs for solar energy equipment.
The corporation is an independent third-party certification entity. It is unique in that it is the only national certification program established solely for solar thermal products. In order to be eligible to receive Solar Tax Incentives benefits all Solar thermal products have to be certify by SRCC.
All ratings are available at: www.solar-rating.org
The ETME model was certified in 2011 by SRCC, making it eligible for Federal and State Tax incentives.
The new BTME model is in the process to be tested and certified by SRCC. This model will offer a higher heat output or efficiency, even in moderate or mild climates and should be available in Q1 2013.
